Testimonial by Sally Robertson, Facilitator:

It has been a great privilege and pleasure to work with so many professionals from within the museums and galleries sector over the past years. The Social Enterprise Academy’s (SEA) accredited leadership programmes give people a unique opportunity to come together with other sector professionals to consider their own leadership journey past, present, and future.

The sessions are alive with inspiring people sharing their experience and expertise and listening to ideas and perspectives from other participants. Time and again people leave the programmes saying they have gained fresh insights and helpful tools to help them maximise their ongoing contribution to the museums and galleries sector. Whether people come from a tiny rural museum or a national city centre gallery people find there is so much they can learn and share with each other. I’m looking forward to working with another inspiring cohort of people from across the sector very soon.

SEA and MGS have worked in partnership for 10 years to deliver high-quality and accredited learning and development opportunities to the sector. Programmes have included the ILM Award in leadership, the ILM Certificate programme delivered as a Next Steps programme, and other shorter programmes including Measuring Social Impact and Developing Enterprising Approaches. The current and future programmes are 10-credit SCQF level 9 Social Enterprise Academy qualifications that are credit rated by Glasgow Caledonian University.
