About the Role
Ullapool Museum is looking for a Marketing and Events assistant to:
Advise and assist in developing a practical marketing strategy. Assist with organising and carrying out planned events. Development of an engaging social media calendar. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok) Create and develop social media adverts for Ullapool Museum, events and products. Evaluation of marketing techniques. Auditing social media accounts.
Contract type: Part Time, Contract
Hours of work per week: 8
Contract length: 52 weeks
We are looking for someone who is:
-Confident in creating social media content. Can work as part of a small team.
-A positive attitude and willingness to offer help.
-Creative and innovative with marketing and content ideas.
-Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
Essential:
-Experience with Canva software or equivalent Relevant marketing experience.
-A good knowledge of social media branding and marketing Confidence and creativity to create relevant social media content, especially TikTok.
-Experience using online data analytics, social media scheduling tools including audit tools.
-Excellent written communication skills with a high standard of grammar, spelling and attention to detail.
Desirable:
Gaelic language Experience in heritage Understanding of WordPress website system.
