Organisations and groups working with communities have been awarded up to £5000 to take part in and celebrate Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022, with new, creative events, activities and programming, spotlighting stories inspired by, created, or written in Scotland.
Museums were able to apply for between £3,000 and £75,000 (£20,000 for non-accredited museums) for capital costs which will help your museum build resilience.
Designed to support Scotland’s independent museums most at risk from ongoing financial challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Apply to the Resilience Fund for between £1,500 and £50,000 for projects that will directly increase your resilience by reducing costs, increasing income or supporting your community. Proposals to improve the energy efficiency of museums will be prioritised in assessment, together with those that will deliver the most immediate positive impact.
Grants of between £500 and £3,000 are available to individual organisations with a closing date of 7th November 2022. The Wild Escape will feed into a UK-wide moment on Earth Day 2023 (Saturday 22nd April) in all participating organisations, demonstrating the sector’s response to urgent challenges facing our environment, and a positive call to action.
